Amn. Paige Renee Villers



19, of Norton, Ohio, died Aug 7 at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio
after apparently contracting a respiratory virus. Villers was initially admitted
to Wilford Hall in the spring after entering Air Force Basic Training.

Confined to a wheelchair and on a ventilator, Villers nevertheless graduated from basic training in July. Although she experienced a short period of recovery, she soon relapsed, according to Air Education and Training Command officials.

25, of Whitefish, Mont.; assigned to the 1st Maintenance Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; died Aug. 7 while supporting combat operations in Anbar province, Iraq. Also killed was Cpl. Adam T. McKiski.
