38, of St. Clairsville, Ohio; assigned to the 660th Transportation Company, Army Reserve, Cadiz, Ohio; died Oct. 5 in Latifiyah, Iraq, of injuries sustained Oct. 4 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his convoy vehicle.

24, of Madison, Wis.; assigned to the 303rd Military Police Company, 97th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, U.S. Army Reserve, Jackson, Mich.; died Oct. 5 in Bayji, Iraq, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked her unit using an improvised explosive device and small-arms fire.

23, of Pointblank, Texas; assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany; died Oct. 5 in Baghdad of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his unit during combat operations. Also killed was Spc. Jason N. Marchand.
