Army Sgt. Thomas J. Sweet II,


23, of Bismarck, North Dakota; assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, based in Fort Riley, Kan.; died of non-combat related injuries Nov. 27 in Junction City, Iraq.

Army Spc. Harley D.R. Miller,


21, of Spokane, Wash.; assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division (Light), Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; killed Nov. 27 when the contract aircraft in which he was riding crashed in Bamian, Afghanistan. Two other soldiers also died in the crash: Lt. Col. Michael J. McMahon and Chief Warrant Officer Travis W. Grogan.

31, of Virginia Beach, Va.; assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division (Light), Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; killed Nov. 27 when the contract aircraft in which he was riding crashed in Bamian, Afghanistan.
