Army Staff Sgt. Mark D. Vasquez,


35, of Port Huron, Mich.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, based in Fort Riley, Kan.; killed in action while riding in a Bradley Fighting Vehicle that was struck by an improvised explosive device on Nov. 8 in Fallujah, Iraq.

Army Pvt. 2 Kurt R. Frosheiser,


22, of Des Moines, Iowa; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder, Germany; killed in action Nov. 8 when the vehicle he was driving while on mounted patrol struck an improvised explosive device in Baghdad.

Army Sgt. Linda C. Jimenez,


39, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; assigned to the 2nd Squadron Combat Support Aviation (Maintenance), 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Polk, La.; died of non-combat related injuries Nov. 8 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. Jimenez fell Oct. 31 and was injured. She was taken to the 28th Combat Support Hospital and later evacuated to Landstuhl Army Regional Medical Center in Germany. She was later moved to Walter Reed.
